New Necklace Preview

This is just a small preview of a new necklace I am creating in a new style~ This piece won't be released until May, alongside many more new items! I am experimenting with new styles, so perhaps there will be more new items introduced into NECROSARIUM than expected! ^o^

Decayed Crow Series

After getting permission from the wonderful Raven Ranch Studio, I have started up a series of accessories named "Decayed Crow". These accessories use a heavy dark theme to accompany highly-realistic resin crow and rat skulls. I purchase these replica skulls direct from the lovely artist at full price and then incorporate them into my own art, so it's like a collaboration between us~

I'm planning to have many more items available for NECROSARIUM in May, possibly towards the middle or end of May, so these skulls will come back into play! I will also do a review of her skull work, I highly recommend her pieces! This is an older photo from months ago. This is my Decayed Crow bow. I need to update these photos, but you will see all of the new designs soon alongside this one!

Simple Makeup Look, 3-20-2014

Last night I was experimenting with casual styles again since i'm deciding to finally let me hair grow out like this. All I had to do for this style was foundation, liquid eyeliner, false lashes, green circle lenses, and red lipstick! The lipstick is optional, I don't think it's the best "casual" look, but I think I pulled it off nicely this time~

I want to get different color lenses, as green was mandatory for my Sakura cosplay. I want to get blue and hazel as well. Next time, I will post photos without lipstick and just a quick simple look for any day! ^3^

Lovely Rose Jewelry by JoyLoveClay

These polymer clay rose creations by JoyLoveClay are simply gorgeous, these roses are hand-crafted and aren't painted, keeping striking detail in each rose. Personally, I can look at these pieces and say that she takes a lot of pride in all of her work, as I make many rose items myself, and hand-sculpting isn't always the easiest thing to do. It takes much time and patience, which makes these pieces from JoyLoveClay even more precious. Each rose and leaf is an individual art in itself, tied together to create flawless pieces of jewelry~

In her shop, she has many beautiful pieces available, and can do so many different rose colors. Of course, I am a huge fan of red roses, so I will definitely have to purchase a piece or two from her shop as soon as I get settled into my next move~ ^o^

HIATUS

At the beginning of the month in April, I will be closing NECROSARIUM for a bit. I am flying from Louisiana to Wyoming, and from Wyoming, Kaya and I will be driving to California. On the way to California, we will be driving through Utah and Arizona and taking a road trip through a couple cities as well as visiting Monument Valley, Zion National Park, Vermillion Cliffs, The Grand Canyon, Moab, and Death Valley. I really enjoyed Death Valley last year, although it is the hottest place on Earth, because it was my first time in a desert. I'm used to heat up to 115F, but just 80F in Death Valley was too extreme for me!... Even so, i'm really looking forward to this road trip~ I just hope I have enough gas money to get us through! Once we reach California, I will be living in the Monterey Bay area for quite some time, so I will be getting my scuba diving certification, diving equipment, and I will be taking photography of ocean life and studying them as well! I can't wait! ♡

Also, once I reach California, I should be rested enough to catch up on my work with NECROSARIUM and will have the time to introduce many new designs such as jabots, bows, headdresses, and more! I do need a small rest since I work day and night on my shop as well as a full-time job, so once I take that vacation, i'll be prepped to do much more~

I will be sure to post landscape and wildlife photography from my trip; I do my best with my photos, so I hope you will enjoy them! I may also make a Milky Way timelapse finally, it takes about 1 hour of snapping photos to create 5-8 seconds of video, so I know I will have time during the trip haha~

2-23-2014 Outfit

I am posting this one a bit late, since I haven't been updating recently, so I figured I would share now! I am in love with these ringlet wigs from AnimeStuffStore on eBay, I actually just got a new one in the mail the other day and can't wait to see what I can do with it! I am still trying to balance heavy makeup and appearance together, I think I am getting better~ I bought some new eyeshadows recently and I want to experiment with styles, and I also want to do some makeup tutorials! I don't always get my eyeshadow into the photo, or it's hard to see, so some close-up shots are definitely called for!

The shrug and top are from RQ-BL and Punk Rave, and I am wearing my Rosarium Eyepatch #10, Obscuros claws and crown, and Decadence Queen brooch~

For now, here is the outfit I came up with last month, it is one of my favorites so far~

Decadence Queen Collection

I have recently created a new collection, Decadence Queen! For this collection, the color scheme mostly consists of dark reds and silvers. I don't normally pair up red with silver as I like to keep the reds with gold and the blues with silver, to match the cool and warm tones, but in this collection I am mixing it up a bit~

At the moment I currently have a brooch, necklace, and ring made, I am in progress of more necklaces and crowns as well as claws to match! These pieces are hand-sculpted, painted, sewn, as well as the nails are cut by hand. My grip is getting so strong from cutting so many thick nails haha

NECROSARIUM X VELVET EDEN

I had the pleasure to work with VELVET EDEN a few months ago, and am very thrilled about it! I have been a fan of their work for many years, and I know Dada has been creating art since I was born! ^o^ VELVET EDEN has been a strong motivation for me in my style since the beginning~

Dada inspired the Arachnid series, and these pieces were used in their recent photoshoot for their Double Twelve album as well as in their new music video, One Caress.

NECROSARIUM Model, Kali~

Meet NECROSARIUM's new model, Kali~ She does a very excellent job modeling and is very fun to work with!（*＾3＾）/～♡
She is modeling my Obscuros claws, Decayed Crow bow, Vampire's Requiem necklace and ring (in brown), and a brown rose brooch. She looks absolutely stunning in each piece, I am very happy for her to model NECROSARIUM! These are only a few of many photos, all photo credit goes to her as well~

 

Moon on 3-13-2014

I think I am getting better at photographing the moon! I finally was able to use my DSLR camera over the tiny eyepiece of my telescope, so I could catch some finer detail~ I am still working with magnification and mirror techniques, so far I can get a very high magnification but the detail is very poor, so I am still working~

Beautiful Lolita Vampire Cuff by Vilindery

I have just stumbled upon this beautiful Gothic cuff from Vilindery and I am in love! This is a piece I had to own, I will definitely post a review of this piece when I receive it! It has a perfect design balance as well as a beautiful shade of red that gives off a very elegant feel, it's not over-done and it's not too simple. It's clean elegance.
