新しいスタイル!

I have created a new image for myself for MAZO FxxKIN' PUNK project. I will start new this new year. I won't hide myself behind a dark mask forever, although I really love the dark style. I will continue to create my best Gothic and Visual Kei designs for you, however. From all of the artists I look up to the most, I want to show it. How do you like this new style?

Which means, once I can begin heavier advertising, I will be looking for models for NECROSARIUM!

The hat is what I got from KENZI (ANTI FEMINISM / THE DEAD POP STARS), it features his character Pipanku (ぴぱんくう)!
The choker is my first official design for MAZO xx PUNK.
My hair also has a red stripe in front, but it's hard to see with the hat~

NEW PROJECT - MAZO FxxKIN' PUNK

Over the past 3 years I have been working in the more elegant and dark Gothic, Lolita, and as much as I can, Visual Kei industry. Well, it's getting very hard on me. I have two extremes of personality. I have been able to show the more quiet, elegant side, dressing pretty, and more. But now I need to reveal more shock image. At least, shock image is what sparked my interest in this industry. So now, I have decided to open my project, MAZO FxxKIN' PUNK. This project is not necessarily a brand, but, I am starting as a drummer also, getting back into fighting, showing any cute style, illustrated art, and just expressing myself without the fear of a harsh public opinion. I think i'm ready. NECROSARIUM will continue the same. But I think I am very ready to take control of my life as the entertainer I have always been inspired to be almost 10 years ago. I'm no longer scared of a public opinion. I am very careful with my experimentation and act, even if i'm covered in blood, i'm very careful.

Life has been very difficult for the past year, if I didn't have people opening their home to me, I would be on the street. I have been unemployed for a year. So please have patience with me. NECROSARIUM has slowed down dramatically, and I can't put out like I need to. But I will catch up. I promise.

New Rosarium Bows

Since I have started bringing the original intention back to NECROSARIUM, with the ornate and elegant rose theme, I have been creating as much as I can! I am still working on more punk and masculine accessories when I can also. But I also know that I can create work like this, and you can only find this kind of work from NECROSARIUM.

There is only one each, as each bow is unique just like my Rosarium necklaces and eyepatches.

バラ悪魔が戻ってきた。

As NECROSARIUM has taken a long break from creating anything elegant, or rose-themed, it is in great need to return. It was NECROSARIUM's original intention. Although I am now starting work with others more on the side of modernized Visual Kei, I will do my best to keep this spirit alive as well. I have some new necklaces that can be worn as eyepatches, as well am in the process of creating hair pieces like bows and headbands as well! I have preview of the bows. Every item is unique and cannot be exactly replicated.

The Rose Demon has returned.

Basic Visual Kei Eye Makeup Tutorial

This is my first Visual Kei makeup tutorial, and I hope to do more! I know it's not the best to show the process, but it's a try~ This is the makeup style I do the most when I wear Visual Kei style! Only recently it's easier to apply thin eyeliner, the trick it to use a thin brush, my eyeliner tip is too hard to apply thin. I didn't do so much to the hair this time.
Ok! I hope it's a little helpful to you! ☆

メクチェッキ2014-09-02!

For this makeup, I only used eyeliner, smoky grey, black, and red eyeshadow, and eyelashes for the bottom. Lipstick is black and red with some drawn bottom spikes.

I will make a tutorial of how to do this makeup and more soon, there's some tricks I learned to get certain shapes, I know i've had lipstick troubles for the corners of my mouth for years, so in case you have the same problem, I can fix!

The lighting was bad and I used the iPhone for these photos, but the tutorials will be in better lighting and quality!

Getting Ready for Fashion Shows!

A while ago I confirmed co-hosting the fashion show in Wilmington, NC in December for Aniwave 2014, and am now in the process of confirming to be a part of the fashion show at PMX (Pacific Media Expo) in Los Angeles, CA! As I am almost retiring from wearing elegant fashions now, a new public appearance needs to be set in order for these shows! At least, something striking! Kote Kei has always been such an inspiration, it was how I got started in my fashion interests! Gothic Lolita has always been a huge love of mine also, but I think I can only do it for some photos. I think i'm too rough of a person to dress in EGL comfortably. Keeping Visual Kei alive is the goal for me, standing by until the end.

I am planning to do some makeup and hair tutorials soon, I feel I am getting better with the style to be able to show you all and give some tips!

In these photos I am wearing an eyepatch, headband, and necklace that I made for my brand NECROSARIUM! I will add studs to the eyepatch soon. The top is from Punk Rave I believe, it's been so long.

NECROSARIUM X Aniwave 2014

On December 7, 2014, NECROSARIUM will be collaborating with Aniwave for a Japanese street fashion show! I am very excited to attend this event as a fashion show host and am looking forward to meeting everyone! We have a great show for you all planned!

My comment video has recently been uploaded to Aniwave's official YouTube account! Please, check it out! It's my first ever comment video, and actually the first video I have made!

NECROSARIUM X Xenon Shop

For this past week, I celebrated my birthday in Los Angeles, CA! My birthday was on September 2. I took the train that day and rode for 10 hours to Los Angeles to meet up with a staff of Xenon to talk about selling NECROSARIUM in their store. Xenon is a Japanese rock and Shibuya style shop, official CURE shop, with merchandise from bands from Japan! This has got to be one of my favorite shops and everyone is so nice! I was surprised, I actually recognized the guy I met with from Anime Expo and VK Fest! He translated between me and Kenzi a bit for those events, haha! It was nice to meet him again! I met with some other friends there as well, they are like my family. I was so happy to meet them, and some for the first time in person! Well, they decided to give NECROSARIUM a try of selling from the shop! I am really so excited about it! I will hear a confirmation soon. It will be my first time selling my brand through a shop in the USA, and alongside other very respected brands! It's really an honor!

So, if you love NECROSARIUM and JRock, you can find my brand and other brands like Jury Black and more, as well as JRock merchandise and fashion, here at Xenon in the Little Tokyo mall in Los Angeles!! Please show them support and head on over! I can say from experience, it's a nice-priced shop also!

Getting Back Into Kote Kei Style

Kote Kei is one of my favorites, and noticing lately that so many Visual Kei bands are also losing the image, I want to keep it alive. Of course, image is not so important for music. But, as a fashion designer, I really want the Visual style to live! Kote Kei has already almost died 10 years ago. So, I wanted to try it again. It's been many years since an attempt. I think I am becoming better at hair and makeup, so I will revive it. Soon, I will buy many wigs, and will also try teal hair! ^o^

All accessories here are my NECROSARIUM brand. I made these two headbands, eyepatch, claws, choker, and wrist cuff. The shirt is Punk Rave I believe~

77 Baseball Hits!

Today, I made 77 consecutive hits at batting practice! I think I am getting better at my aim! 楽しかった!!

Pretty Style, Green Dress

think I really enjoy to dress in this style. At least, on normal days, it's really nice! It was always hard to dress very feminine for me, but at least I can do makeup and hair in this fashion! Clothes can either be a dress or masculine, it doesn't matter so much. Since i've been making more punk/rock accessories now, it's fun to use them! But, I am planning to open a new brand next year, "Kawaii Fatality"! I want it to be like "Tokyo pop" style. Bright colors, cute~ I will explain more later! For now, I must concentrate on the punk/rock accessories! I am trying very hard to sell out of some shops here to raise money to improve! 頑張ってます!!

JPop Summit 2014

This year was my first time to attend JPop Summit in San Francisco, CA! It was really fun! Although, there were estimated 100,000 people who attended, so it was really hard to walk. I didn't know so many of the performers, but really liked them! Also, I think it was my first time that I drank enough to feel it. Haha! But around so many nice people, there was no worry! I am very happy I met everyone again, and more. Moving to CA really was a good move I think~

Yasei no Chi - New Style!

Recently, I have been dressing very cute lately, since Anime Expo! I don't want to stop dressing up since it's over! So I dress up every day now~ It has really improved my confidence, I usually never will dress up. Well, I love wild image so much, that I wanted to try it out again. It's been so long. I think this style goes really well with the Yukata my friend bought me in J-Town, San Fran! What I do is, not so heavy, but use dark blue and black eyeshadow for all around my eyes. Eyeliner is good too of course, and eyelashes optional~ Red lipstick that isn't so neat, but not so messy, and blood! Two color or one white contact lens works so well for this image, which I am happy about since one of my lenses were defective on arrival. I wear my yukata right over left because it's to represent the dead.

I will be doing this look for a day or so at JPop Summit! I can't wait to be back with friends and meeting more people there! See you all~

Anime Expo & VK Fest 2014

This was my very first time in Los Angeles, CA as well as first time at a large Anime convention such as Anime Expo! I brought two of my friends along with me for the trip, and after contacting an old friend that I haven't seen in about 3 years, we had badges to get to work. This friend is someone who I met when I was 15, at MechaCon in LA, and after meeting him, I would travel to TX to help him with the booth work there as well. It's all I look forward to now at conventions! Well, we all got there and, after some complications, we got to work. I was to model Mika Takeuchi brand, a designer of H.Naoto for 10 years, this was her first independent brand release. It's a very nice brand, very nice quality as well~ It was more hard than I expected, to model as well as bring in customers and make sales, since I had never done it before. But my boss for those days that I had just met, Mika Takeuchi's manager, had just flown in from Japan and I didn't want to disappoint him, so I tried to do my best. My friends were assisting with JHouse-Rock/JPop House and Sony music for Eir Aoi. They really enjoyed themselves more than I thought! I know that from assisting with past small convention booths, there was a lot to keep busy, and even I had never done any work compared to AX, so I was worried since they had never done anything like that before. But it was fun for us all! We worked for 4 days. I think it may have been a little more difficult for us because we were assisting others and knew they were relying on us, so we had to make sure everything was good for them. Maybe if it was our own booth it would have been a bit easier haha~ Well, one day I plan to sell NECROSARIUM there!

The most exciting day of AX was Friday. While I was about to take a small break from modeling to walk around and look at other booths, I caught one of my rockstar idols in the corner of my eye. All I had to do was say "Kenzi?" and we immediately became friends! Kenzi of ∀NTIFEMINISM had a booth there and was getting ready for VK Fest on Sunday night. It was so exciting, because even if we couldn't speak to each other very well, he would come around to talk to me every now and then, and I would take breaks to go to his booth. XENON staff would sometimes translate between us, but despite the language barrier, we talked for quite some time and planned to meet at VK Fest. Now, VK Fest was has to be one of the most fun times I have ever had! Despite me being very shy my whole life, I actually met so many cool people and made a lot of friends! I had never been able to talk to others so easily as I did there, and have as much confidence as I did. During ∀NTIFEMINISM's show, I actually got brought on stage with them for a bit! I definitely did not expect that! I'm so thankful. After the show, we all hung out until closing at 2:00am. I also got to meet and talk with Yuji and Nozomi from カラット as well as Tomo from The Rhedoric, and Kon from CELL! I met 桃杏める also, and she was such a sweetheart! I wanted to see her live, but I wasn't able to make it, so I will go see her in Japan soon!  Everyone put on such a great show. This event really helped me come out of my shell and now i'm always looking forward to meeting and talking to people~ ^o^

Before getting to AX, I only expected to maybe get his autograph after the show if I was even lucky. I really have always looked up to him, he's such a hard worker, and when I feel like my brand is failing, I just remember that I have to work hard like him. Now I have his friendship and I couldn't ask for anything more. I have looked up to him for so many years with such respect. Please show everyone some support~

My first day of modeling!
He would always make fun of me for having the "stinkeye", so I kept giving him in his booth. Haha~

Get Ready for Visual Kei!

Recently I have been able to get back heavily into the Visual Kei scene, rather than simply EGL. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore the Lolita fashion and community to no end, but I belong in Visual Kei! So, I have been working on some prototype items to fit the category more, as well as expand more into the more masculine scene. I am working on eyepatches, cuffs, and more to fit the VK genre much better! I don't have much yet, but it's coming! Theme will feature leather, PVC, straps, buckles, and more!

I also have completely restyled my hair into blonde and choppy, rather than to keep an EGL image, I want my lovely models and fans to represent my work as a majority, you all are so lovely ^w^

Music of the day: Saruin - DEATH BALLET

Red Shoot

I'm trying to go back to red hair, but I think I can't always have it. I think it's one of the hardest colors for me to keep, it always fades so fast.
Here are photos of recent style~

The horns are made by myself, the jacket is Punk Rave brand, and the tie is Kyo's design!

Some Distance...but Returned!

Lately between all of my moves, I had to pause on updating this blog. I'm back now! Everything is settled almost. I have my mind more sorted, at least, more open now. I am back to being a lyricist and am currently working on my and my friend's music project, -KoA-. Soon, I want to become a bassist again, and a drummer! It's a dream~

In about 2 weeks I will be attending Anime Expo 2014 as well as VK Fest! I'm so excited to see performances by ∀NTI FEMINISM, Kon (CeLL), and more! Kenzi and Kon have been such inspirations for me for almost 10 years now. I also want to discover the stores around Los Angeles, it will be my first time there, and I want to make partnerships! ^o^

The project with VELVET EDEN didn't make it, but, it's only because of time and supplies. I think we were both unsure of an exact date, but I will definitely do any work I can with them, any time!

GHOUL Outfit - DIR EN GREY Inspired

After seeing Kyo's magnificent makeup and costume for DIR EN GREY's "GHOUL" tour, I knew I had to try it out on my own. I wasn't able to attend the tour, so I thought it could be a nice way to remember the wonderful imagery that I had seen online~

First, I outlined for a base. This was practice to make sure I knew where to apply the makeup. On the second round, I got right to the makeup. It took me about 2 hours to do this full outfit, as i'm not experienced with this sort of makeup.

I used black liquid eyeliner for everything bold, followed by black eyeshadow where necessary. I also "shadowed" the eyeliner parts with grey eyeshadow for effect. For the skeletal and eyeball area, it includes white makeup. Contacts are also worn~
For the cloak, it's simple black translucent fabric worn as a cloak, along with some horns I made, claws, and spiked rings.
